How to tell who is linked to you

I have tried everything to tell who is backlinked to me, but to no avail. I want to view the sites to see what there PR is. I'm new at this and want a decent page rank. I've traded links with about 20-30 reputable(high PR) sites, but somehow I'm showing more backlinks. Anyway to find out who they are?

Hi wellzy!
Do link:www.yoursite.com or click on Page Info - Backward Links on the Google toolbar if you have it installed. As you can see in many threads here in WebmasterWorld Google will not show you all the links even if they count.

Do the same test in alltheweb if you want to see ALL links.

Thanks, Susanne.

Wow, what a difference. 790 backlinks on Google, 1,356 on alltheweb. Presumably it would be similar for my competitors though, so I doubt if I'm losing out on Google.

I notice that they do not check Google! ;) Still useful though.

Mediation Man - you can check your competitors links in the same way and some online tools even allow comparisons with other sites.
