Googlebot is visiting my site...

...isn't too early?

yesterday googlebot made a solitaire visit to my site, and returned today. It's not like a deep crawl, but is really googlebot and not freshbot (216.239.etc). I wonder why is she coming so early...

Actually, now that you mention it, I had some Google hits from 216.239.etc Sunday night.

But from descriptions, I think it reacted like what's described as Everflux (a side-effect of the Freshbot?). The next day I had a dozen new pages listed on Google which disappeared within 48 hours.

I'm still a newbie, so I'm not positive that I'm associating the right things, but the hits were from a 216 and not a 64 (or whatever the other ones are).

Yeah it all ties into the Everflux, if you do a site search you will find hours of reading and top quality information on this site alone.
