How can I check for certain that google has visited and indexed a particular page?

astoller, you can tell in your logs or stats if Googlebot has visited, but to see if you're in the index you have to check right at Google, looking for your URL.

But how can I know if my target page has been indexed by looking at google.
E.g.
domain.com is indexed.

But how do I check if
domain.com/targetpage.htm is indexed?

allinurl:domain.com or allinurl:www.domain.com

but if your page doesn't turn up in these listings then it may be that the page has been spidered but since the last major index update. In that case, it would enter the index itself at the next update, around the last week of December.
