Hi
I am developin a new website and hoping to put it online soon. The webpages has about 30 pages in a folder each with different city information. If i want to register all the pages with google do i have to submit 30 times or will it automatically spider the pages if I submit one of the links. Also am I allowed to submit 30 pages at one time.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Dave

Hi Dave,

There's lots of info no this subject in the forum, but here's a brief summary:

You can submit your home page and if all of your pages are interlinked googlebot will find them. Also, find links to your site (especially Yahoo and Dmoz) and that'll ensure that Google will find you.

Good luck with your new site!

Hello Dave, welcome to WebmasterWorld.

If you submit the index page and the bot can follow links to your individual pages there is no need to submit 30 times. As long as you don't have any orphaned pages or scripted links Google is quite good about following links.

In fact, there's no need to submit at all to Google. If you have a decent inbound link from another site Google will follow the link to your site and index it.
