Is it possible for a domain to have a PR6 and yet one of its pages (incidentally the links directory) to have a grey bar? Can a single page be banned from Google? It's a site I came across a few days ago. Stickymail me for the URL if you're interested.

Of course a sibgle page can be excluded from Google. Maybe the webmaster of the domain doesn't want Google to Spider the site and put the noindex meta-tag in the head of the html code. The site would be spidered and given the normal PR, but the page with the noindex Tag will not be spidered and not be given PR, so the toolbar says grey.

Duh, you're right :). I've had a better look at the site and all the really informative pages have a NOINDEX in the robots tag. Some of them have external links. That's more than half a site. Isn't that strange?
The links page is themeindex.html that's PR0 not grey.
