I made my title tag longer and Freshbot didn't crawl as many pages.

I've been getting about 25 pages crawled each day by the Freshbot. Yesterday I increased my homepage title tag from 11 words to 13 and I only got the homepage crawled today.
Is this a coincidence or does Google look badly on long titles. I realise that they're changing the Fresh crawl depth often but it seemed a funny coincidence.

Googles been deep crawling i think so maybe its tired :P

Well it's been all over my sites :P not sure which thread talks about deepcrawls on here but it could help you (: I often leave out food for the bot and it comes back often.

lol, you sure it wasn't the freshbot rather than deep crawl cause as I said I've been getting 25-30 pages crawled every day this month by freshbot. What kind of food is best? :)

Sounds like a coincidence. I don't think changing your title tag would entice more Googlebot visits.
