Index Refresh of Google Image Search

Hi all,

Does anybody know the refresh/update rate of the image index provided by google image search (images.google.com)?

I guess it's very infrequent?!?

I'm not sure how regularly Google updates it's image index, but it does seem that it's not very often. I haven't seen Google's imagebot in our logs for quite some time, maybe someone else has?
