ODP / Yahoo PR

Is it just me or is PR dropping in the ODP and Yahoo?

I have clients now who are in both Yahoo and the ODP yet you can not find the entry on back links in Google as the PR is so low. It seems as both directories grow in popularity the regional / specialist listings have suffered.

It begs the question, how can Google like Yahoo so much if it can't find it?

Picking a category in the ODP looks to be more important than ever now if you want the PR.

scottyman,

many a thread has been posted discussing this topic.

there really is more to a yahoo or odp listing then a high back link showing on Google,

Thanks Shak,

I agree this is not a reason not to be in either directory. Both have merits.

Just wondering why so many people talk about Google and Yahoo liking each other when they don't seem to see each other!

scotty,

there are members better informed than me who can answer your question with a bit more insight.

what I am saying is, there is a lot more to the YahooGle relationship than meets the naked SEO eye.
