Google sent me a christmas present

It took me a while to figure out why I got a package from Google. They sent me an embroidered blanket. Kudos to the customer relations over there... this is just cool!

I'm curious as to what they sent the bigger spenders

The GOOGLE game seems like a giant game of Monopoly with each "dance" like shaking the dice cup.

You dont need a blanket do you? Dont you sleep in a big server farm where all the heat given off keeps you warm. You even like the gentle hum as it helps you to sleep. Thats what I heard anyhow. :).

I am feeling a strange attachment to my blanket. My friends and neighbors are looking strangely at me as I drag it around with me everywhere. My 90 year old mother tried to take it away from me to wash it and I screamed and stamped my feet until she gave it back. I can't take my nap or sleep at night unless I clutch it in my arms and suck my thumb. I have named it Googley. I have a deep feeling of dread someone will take it away and I will never get to hug Googley again. I think I just wet my pants!

I sincerely believe there is something different in Google's corporate culture.

It's not just about PR, (no the other PR, the one for Public Relations, remember?) Google is different than most other companies, and others should take note of this.

we have over 30,000 keyword campaigns with Google atm and I want my blanket flown to the UK and delivered by Sergey in person. Please. Btw did anyone get that email survey that they sent out with the $20 adwords rebate for filling it in? The rebate lasted about 1 processor cycle :) but it was still nice to get it.

Yup, they ship anywhere if you are willing to pay the price. I just ordered up a really funky flop hat, a beach towel and a golf umbrella for my Christmas holiday.
