Before I was told that if a site is linking to me that has a pagerank below 5 i wouldnt get credit and I understand.. But now I am not getting credit for sites over... my site is [bleeeep] and I clearly have a link in dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Chat/Java/... i went to the cache for that site and my site was in it and the page rank is over 5... This also happens for www.[bleeeep].. I have a link to [bleeeep] and [bleeeep] but they are not getting link credit when the cache for google shows them both in it... Please help me... Also my site has to different titles.... when i typed Java chat rooms in google it is listed as [bleeeep] but when I type [bleeeep] that is the title and it is newly updated...

Give it time. DMOZ is having problems with updating their RDF right now, so the Google Directory is a DMOZ copy from September. Google will pick up your site and the PR in good time.

If the page you are checking backlinks for is under PR4 then you will not be able to see backlinks. That doesn't mean you don't get credit just that you will not see them.

This linking is really tough... I clearly see on a sites cache that my site is in there with a link and there page rank is above 5 but i am not receiving credit.. I am only credit 5 links when I have over 200 pages linked to me which more then half are ranked over 5..

Are they using regular <a href => tags? If it's javascript or cgi, etc, it may not get picked up by Google.

Also you should really wait 2 full updates when backlinks/PR are fully calculated/refreshed before worrying about backlings and/or PR gains from them. Just because its in their cached page doesn't mean it counts, because that could be a freshed page (fresh cache) which does not "count" yet in a major update.

Well im assuming its the a href... i think dmoz category listings are and most of the sites Ive checked are.. I will wait to next update Im hoping it will show! An will i be penalized by having copyright by and all 3 of my sites at the bottom of every page on all 3
