Deep Crawl Question - What Goes in the Index?

Changed index title, realized it was a bad idea and changed it back

Question:

Googlebot at 216.239.46.220 has been regularly deep crawling my site for about a week now. When it first came, I had tweaked my home page title to:

"Unique Widget"

when the title "Unique Widgets" was a better choice and demanding far more clicks monthly.

Two days ago, I cahanged the title back. Will the January index reflect the old title or the new title? Googlebot has spidered this page since I changed it back.

Thank you so much!

Personally I'm not so sure about these IP addresses, but I _think_ that your site has been visited by freshbot (crawlerxx), which is a rather new feature with somewhat unstable results.

The results for the big update are collected by deepcrawler (crawlxx). Haven't you been visited by that?

I read in another post that the 216.239... IP was the deep crawler and the fresh bot was something like 64.38...

Oops! Sorry! My own statistics program does not go into such details. I evidently did get those addresses confused. (But I _did_ warn you!)

Can you see which day that particular page was visited?

The deep crawl bot came yesterday...

If deepcrawler read your homepage yesterday then that reading should count. Even if it had read the page before.
