Hi BigMatt,

Welcome to WebmasterWorld

I have a couple sites that Google's been deep crawling since yesterday. Based on that, I'd say the deep crawl is right on schedule.

My server log showed 1,100+ Googlebot hits yesterday (the first day in about a month with more than 429 Googlebot hits in a 24-hour period).

My site is currently being deep crawled. It started a couple of days ago.. around Dec. 1st or 2nd. It's in full swing now, eating up about 60 pages today and about 100 in total so far, with about another 300 to go.

This is my second deep crawl. Google first saw my site two months ago, added me to their index last month and then deep crawled me for the first time. I went from a PR of 0, to a 4 and now 5. I've noticed a significant increase in traffic from Google and Yahoo now.

At this point, Google is hitting me hard and I hope she takes all my new pages, as well as those indexed last time.

Regarding fresh updates, I'm also being fresh updated on about 12 of my pages everyday. This is a bonus and I didn't expect it. I'm trying to keep things updated to keep that bot happy. It's good for users and the internet in general if you think about it.

If you're one of those guys following the 12-month program, I'm working on "Links" - getting quality link backs from other sites. For anyone reading this, the 12-month plan is working great for me so far.
