My google listing is consistently in the top 3 for my target keyword, my page rank is 6-7 on the bar, my backward links are increasing each month...then why-oh-why
would my google listing no longer be there following the last update?
I have searched through webmasterworlds google faq's, I've read numerous posts...but I just don't get it.
My site has not been banned.
I don't use spoofing or anything of the sort.
It's a site that's content rich for one or wo particular keywords.
I really would like some assistance...please?

Stop and think for a minute what an enormous task keeping that database fresh, not to mention expanding it over the course of 30 days really is.
In any given month, there will be a small percentage of those 3 billion + pages that get temporarily dropped during the update process.
If you were to pole the webmasters of every site that has been on the web for at least 4 years, I think you would find that a huge percentage would tell you that during their time on the web, they have spent a cycle or two out of which ever search engine is dominating at the time.
It just happens. And in most cases, the site will return. All you have to do is hurry up and wait.
