I've just noticed this.

Google "results per page": 10 - target site: #10
Google "results per page": 20 - target site: #12
Google "results per page": 100 - target site: #15

Is this a new phenomenon?

Check to see if the position change is due to more indented listings being shown.

Hi
Daunte is right. Results are indented if two or more results from one domain would show up on the same page without indented results. In general, this means that if you are low on the first page there will probably end up dropping. If your down a couple pages you can move up if multiple sites have more than two listings.

Yup! Very interesting.

I didn't work it out myself because I was checking in a Google Dance tool that didn't show indenting.

Thanks.
