the results for my page that I'm getting now are showing the old titles but I had changed them about two weeks ago, I had also changed some other parts of the site (H1, alt tags, links etc.).

so is it possible that the ranking will change for sites which had made changes in mid-november?

Welcome, This is possible. Last month from the 'fresh' updates I moved my site up in the top 20 from not listed for a few keywords. As long as your site gets the fresh updates this is possible.
