When does Google update their catalogue?

And how will it show on my Pagerank?

When does Google update their catalogue? I’ve finally made it into Google – thanks for all the help I’ve received from all of You – and have been in the Dmoz for six weeks. I have a pagerank of six – is that good for a newbie?
My Q is – when will Google update their catalogue? And is it not a copy of Dmoz? And finally – will that get my a better pagerank?

First, congratulations on you 6 PR. That's very good, IMHO.

Google does get its directory from the Open Directory. However, due to some technical issues, Google's copy of the directory hasn't been updated since late September.

What is likely is that the Googlebot found your listing in the DMOZ directory itself. This link probably accounts for some of your good PR in this month's update.
