Hi Chris,

Welcome to WebmasterWorld

google's databases are in flux at the moment because the are in the middle of an update [webmasterworld.com].

It really isn't possible to tell wheter your site has actually been dropped until the process completes. So the best thing to do would be to pull up a chair, and spend the next few days reading through some older posts.

Then, once the db has settled, you will be ready to start diagnosing any potential problems.

Hi Chris,

the Google knowledge base is a good starting point, in case you haven't read it yet...

Search this website on Everflux and you'll find it's just a matter of waiting out the update. Hope you get great PR and high in the SERPs!

Chris, you should plan on a stable position after 3 months maximum of first being "truely" indexed by Googlebot. Until then the site is going to be in and out.

A new site with numerous backlinks can show in the index in as little as 5 weeks, but stability is fragile until at least 2 monthly updates.

Guaranteed inclusion is at least one PR4+ backlinks after two monthly updates. Freshbot may list you earlier, but it will not be a stable listing.
