My guess is you wil begin to start hearing reports of the deep crawl begining tomorrow or Monday. It could take a few days before you see it at your site, but you should see it within a week or so, provided you have enough established links.

Personally I would like to wait a little. I have a lot of not quite finished pages to edit and to upload. And I'm waiting for an incoming link from a PR7. And Yahoo should change the URL for one of my sites. A couple of days before deepcrawl would be nice.

I do not know if this helps but we have googlebots, 10,11, and 12 going through the site this morning and now.

Don't know if that indicates deep crawl or not but they are all pulling a lot of pages.

Newbie question...

I thought we just had pages indexed by Google a few days ago.

What is different now? And what will happen to the pages I updated and submitted between then and now? Will they be added to the index because of deep crawl?

It _is_ confusing. Google just made the big november update based on deep crawling earlier in november. Now they have started the crawlings for december update. And then there's the freshbot, that may visit your website daily...

Deep crawl started here too, at 9am Indiana time, but only got 1 page and hasn't been back since and now it's 1:14pm....cmon Googlebot....come baaaaaaaaack....
