Just started playing around with this feature. For my site there seems to be a couple of 'in-house' links, and a couple of sites I link to, but any ideas on how G computes the others?

I think they must take into account who links to who for this. Some of the pages similar to mine belong to my circle of acquaintances and are linked to by many of the same people I am, but there is no direct link between us. Yet they all come up as smiliar (along with pages I do link to). I haven't spent much time looking into this but since the topics of all our pages varies a fair bit it seems that the linking is the most important factor.

I only have a very limited experience with 'similar pages', but from what I've see is that they show pages that are linked to from the same sources (e.g. the pages from the same ODP directory etc.).

The other odd thing is the numbers shown, some sites with higher PR/rankings show fewer results.
