Hi,

there were many posts in regards to using SSI or PHP to create a "daily changing page". it looks OK but there are two issues
1. what % of the text in the page needs changing?
2. the timestamp of the page does not change, so Google can easily check out if the .html is really a .shtml or a .php, is it doing so? and how could the timestamp be changed as well.
4.any other ideas how can the spider catch that?

If the script in question were to actually generate / overwrite a file as opposed to a text line inside ther page by means of an SSI include, that might update the timecode.
