As a SE, how do we go about getting our Keywords to help us

We run a wholesale industry specific pay-per-click search engine. We don't have content at our site, other than our search results which consist of a title and a description of what our advertiser sells. We obviously know what our most searched terms are at our site, is there any way to maximize these keywords to draw traffic from Google? Should we be focussing on setting up content such as industry related articles and such?

Articles is a great way to go. They are very keyword rich and if they are good articles you can get many other like-industry sites to link to you. This will help your traffic and your PR!
