Just came across the new, mirrored DMOZ directory for Austria, Switzerland and Germany.

What do you expect will happen to the PR for listed sites? Any effects at all? Or will it be just ignored by Google?

Mirror site's owner adds/or alters the presented content (e.g.) builds around the DMOZ.org directory structure so that their own site supports the RDF downloaded site) you can expect fair to good PR from these pages.

However, observation of most clones suggest PageRank 0 is most likely.

I have seen 2 such sites with PR7 pages and one with PR8's but very, very rare.

Often the pages that uses DMOZ have a very low PageRank for their main page, and that means that you will probably get squat from the category your in, and if a site uses Dmoz data, and they have a high PageRank, they sometimes exclude the robots via the robots.txt file.
And Google probably dropps quite many for duplicate reasons.

Ive also noticed that some mirror sites do not include lower down DMOZ categories.

Just to clarify: It is DMOZ itself that runs the new mirror. So if you go to dmoz.at (or .de or .ch) you are automatically transferred to the mirror in Switzerland.

It is NOT some other site using the dump - itīs still a dmoz-site!

Does nobody else have any ideas about that new mirror ch.dmoz.org? Or is it really no big deal to worry about?

Just to clarify: It is DMOZ itself that runs the new mirror.

No, it is not DMOZ (Netscape) itself. Those three mirrors are operated by Marco Huggenberger. See [dmoz.de...]

Those entry pages have been around for quite some time.

ch.dmoz.org is a real mirror.
