Sorry to spoil the fun Dixon, but it's the "?il=1" that does it.

I think I've only seen two cases where the Google Directory seemed to have a real penalty. The guestbook category back in the Spring when it was a poison word for a while, and (for a while) a search engine promotion category that linked to a lot of 'bad neighbourhods'.

Well, sometimes Google likes to use 0 Pageranks [google.com] on it's own pages ;) (oh, and a meta refresh redirect too hehehe)

I just checked out that googlestore. I was suprised to see that they didn't have a dart board with the google logo on it. I am sure it would be a big seller with in SEO and webmaster circles about the time of the google dance. ;]

GoogleGuy, if you read this post, please pass on my suggestion. I would also like to pre-order the dart board. Willing to pay any price. ;]
