How do I know if an inbound link is a good or bad one? I'd like anyone out there to try to sell my products if they can, but not if it will hurt my rank.
Also, how do you know if an outbound link is bad?
Is there such a thing as too many outbound or inbound links?
I know that I should stick to links that are relevant to my site content, but maybe sticking to this rule won't keep me from trouble either. Thanks, this is very scary! Google runs my life now! ;-)
Don't let Google run your life so much that you think of Google first rather than your sales :)
Sales are important and if you think there are people who want to be affiliate, don't be afraid to let them provide a link to your site. And if you can get some good sales, it should be good.
Moreover, there are chances that a bad site you provide a link to would do more harm rather than an incoming link from a bad site to you.
When considering an outbound link, just think of your visitors - Is the link you are providing good for the visitors of your site?
