I checked all day long www,2,3 - and there were stable results with the "link:" command with various urls. so, is the dance over now?

Once they are the same for a couple of days then you will know it is over. It is rapping up, but you can never be too sure.

When I run a query on www, www2, www3 I get two different results.
On www there are 574,000 results and I am number 11.
On www2 and www3 there are 689,000 results and I am number 10.
It looks to me like it is not finished yet.

quotations, you need to confirm the count of backlinks to a popular site; the results total varies all the time.

I'm still seeing major movement in my area. Is any one else or does it seem stable.

There is still sporatic movement of site positions on my google results pages. As recently as within the last 15 minutes. Don't think it's entirely over yet.
