"link:www.domain.com"

What's the minimum PR for this to work?

Hope that I haven't missed something here but from what I remember I thought the "link:www.domain.com" would only work for PR4 and higher? Just tried on a few PR3 sites and it showed me the links as well. Since when has this changed?

The link-from page should be PR4+, the link-to page's PR is irrelevant (as link as there's no ban on it)

Ok, I see where I was wrong. Still, I can't confirm it since I also see links from sites with PR3 this way.

Could be that at time of crawling those pages were PR4+ as I have not seen any backlinks from PR3 or lower sites for quite sometime.

my google directory category is now showing as a backlink and it has a pr of three. Maybe there are page rank figures still to be filtered in. Curiously, my site has more backlinks showing yet lower pr. Its still a five but not a strong enough five for my interior pages to be a five as they were for the last month. Also my nearest competitor jumped ahead of me in the google directory's ranking system though we're both fives. I guess maybe content is king because thats where I've focused and I'm now on the front page for all my important keywords for this site.

hi bluemi, this link:www.domain.com thing is confusing me as well. I noticed the web site that linked to me had a PR3 for the first result from Google. But as I looked at the other pages from that same domain, one of the other pages was listed as PR4. So, this leads to be believe that as long as one page on that domain is PR4, all pages linking to your web site will appear.

This has not been the case for me. The category I mentioned above is the first I've seen of it and there are a number of pr 2 and 3 pages from higher ranking domains pointed at sites I'm responsible for. Haven't checked all their backlinks for this update yet though.

Now that you mention it, I am seeing an exclusive PR3 page displaying under link:www.domain.com

I think I remember seeing an PR2 Site at link:www.domain,com query, but i am not sure.
Maybe they decide whether to show the site or not how worthy the site could be for the searcher. But don't ask me how the manage this.

High PR3 pages and above show in the link command. They also are counted as links. Exactly how high I don't know.
