Almost all of my sites have lost GPR by 1 today. Anyone else notice this? All sites have less links recognized by Google. This is making the inbound links even more important than they were before. Now, if I could just get Google to find them all.

I just started getting the new backlinks from the toolbar -- does that mean that the new PR should be in effect?

Yes. GPR = Google Page Rank. Big changes to many sites today in decreased GPR by 1 and number of inbound links are less. What's going on?

well, belvie it or not, my sites got "-1" too. one site is down from pr 6 to pr 5! other site that was penalized and index got to pr 2 last monht is now pr 1! other sites still pr 0.hm, not good, not good.

pr on toolbar i updated although i still dont see new results in www (only in www2 an www3). does everybody see new toobar pr rank? mayb it i just temporary since results are not yet in www and toolbar looks www.. but doesnt look good.

It's a bit early to make firm assumptions about PageRank changes. I noticed one major site drop from 8 to 7, then go back up to 8 on Friday afternoon. For that matter, the www results were back to last month's when I checked a couple of hours ago at my location.

whatabout this scenario: they are moving database from www2 to www and toolbar is "working".due to lack of links (they are moving database and it is not over yet) pr that we see is "calcualteD" from current state of www whcih results in lower pr.it is best to wait yes :)

It is just part of the update. PR values will float around on the toolbar for days. Don't read anything into it until 4-5 days have passed and it is stable.

read and read some more. It's all normal.

Yep. Relax, it's not going to be over for days yet. Dumb post, right? Nobody around here is going to relax!

Thanks all! I knew I could count on you. Some sites are back up. Some the same, but I'll just be patient.
