Before the www2 migrates to www I encourage everyone to try these queries:

www
====
link:www.yahoo.com = 657,000 (we know this well)
link:yahoo.com = 4,930

www2
====
link:www.yahoo.com = 654,000
link:yahoo.com = 654,000

Notice that google (once again) does a better job of matching aliases to the "main" address. It seems this was disabled last update.

What does this mean? Those of you who created www.super-dooper-keyword-domain.com for yahoo will get the link benefit to your www.humanreadable.com domain name.

I don't think so. I think Google doesn't see humanreadabledomain.com as human readable domain.
Though it does know that the period character can be ignored.

I didn't mean that post to describe anything about keywords in domains, rather that links to synonymous domains are now all getting counted for the "primary" one.
