Cutoff Date For New Links & Pages

Looks as early as Oct 8

Links to pages that were created as early as Oct 8 are not showing up. Also, pages added to Dmoz on Oct 9 are not showing up in the directory results.

Does anyone have anything to indicate that the cutoff date was earlier (or later)?

A very interesting question, I would love to hear some views on this as I am quite puzzled as to why a number of backlinks have not showed up.

Shame I can not remember the exact date they went up.

Plus or minus a day or two thats what i'm seeing so far.

the cache for "data and time gateway" is dated Oct 11th. google cache [216.239.33.100]

but fresh listing are already starting to appear.

--------Added-------------
I have a site with a low PR (new site) which was cutoff on the 6th.

Check blog or other dated pages to see if the links are showing up.

to date, the update always seems to obliterate "freshened" results so it is as of your last deep crawl until freshened again.

That would explain why one of my new sites is listed and other not. When they both were semi-deep-crawled this month.

My site new site that seems to be included in the update was deep crawled on the 11th, and the other which is not included on the 19th.

@kryton: may be, that the deep crawl from 19. was for the november-update!

The hit on the 19th may be related to november update but i would expect if you place a calendar on the page you will have a date after today in the nov update. I think they don't want to keep two sets of pre-update data and would rather have the freshest listings.

Maybe its just me looking for a pattern but the halloween sites look very fresh. Could pages with keywords which are increasing in searchs have a later cutoff date?
