Does anyone know if Yahoo serps are received instantaneously direct from Google (like a query re-direct), or is it something like a complete database that's uploaded to Yahoo nightly, hourly, etc?

I've seen 'new referrals' come through on Yahoo, that were still too new to show up on Google.com - so I think the best answer is probably 'it varies' and as far as I know, they query the Google db directly, so whatever 'fresh' data Google had, Yahoo would use...

Right now I see that www has switched back to the old SERPs although the new ones from www2/www3 were already on yesterday. However, Yahoo already has the new ones, so obviously Google's own results are faster and more stable on Yahoo that on its own pages?
