This strikes me as strange but interesting, so I thought I'd share...

I have a page on my site.
I changed its title two weeks ago, added two keywords.
About a week ago the page started showing the new title, and ranking #1 for a search of a mismash of several of the title words.
I look at (post update) www2 and see not only am I not #1 for that mismash of words, I am nowhere in the results at all.
So I make another unrelated search on www2 and the page shows up, no problem.
So I look at the www2 cache, and it shows an old one where the added keywords do not exist.

So... it's just kind of super strange that the update is not just showing but essentially using the older cache. These aren't critical keywords so I don't really care, but I'm wondering if after the dance settles that my no-ranking-at-all for the mismash of words will never occur because when www2 and www3 are combined with www the new cache will be found.

I'm sure that isn't very clear, but I'm very curious to make this same mismash search in a few days on www and www2 and see what pops up.

I see this - www2 is showing pages cached around the end of August, though even www is showing pages about 4 weeks old apart from those visited by the freshbot - too early to make any conclusions on this update so far if this is the case

I am currently seeing older cached pages on www3 then is in www also. I am also seeing a lot of spammy sites come up in certain serps (numerous repeated keywords in title, and on page)on www3. I never worry - at least for a few days ;)
