While looking at www2 and www3: Google will display the description meta tag on frameset and flash pages. So instead of "skip into" or "this page uses flash" descriptions, you'll now get the content of meta name="description". At least when what you were searching for, is part of the description. Good move, Google!

Their usage of the meta description isn't really new, we had a thread that was on the home page a while back with the news Google had started using the meta description tag a while ago.

Still, it's nice to see that they are doing so for certain page types.
