You're right. Or, sobbing uncontrollably while sitting on a park bench with your laptop. :(
....best to go crazy in the privacy of your own home (or at work, but at least your colleagues already know that you're weird!)

Somehow ironic... :)
I think you're on to something (or on something?)! Let us know how it works out for you!
The first person to get an actual Google tattoo and posts a pic on WW, wins something...Vacation perhaps! ;)
What do you think?
You have to show your ultimate commitment to Google, and a temp won't cut it!
;)
Can you imagine the person who won this contest six years ago and is sporting an Altavista tattoo? :)
im sure i read that somewhere...
people really will do some stupid things to be in the paper and get some free stuff! ;)
Im off to the tatoo parlour...

Every month now I sess about this update stuff.
All veeeery stressful, only google has the cure, cure us! cure us! you wicked beasts!
Could any mention of 'update' or 'wwwx' be shifted to the Google 'discussion' thread unless the poster has at least 500 posts - please? We know when certain posters say 'update' - it is an update! Experience tells!
I understand the excitement of the newbies, we all were there. Filling up WebmasterWorld with every comment on a maybe/willbe/hasbeen/wasn't/ update is getting a little too much :)
I know the Moderators work hard to control this - but stick all the new postings (less than 500) with this header into the main 'pit' of discussion - please?
<edit> Jeez - I just read this and ask you to forgive my anger. I've done this too long, probably am a bit too demanding and certainly too arrogant! However, I still believe the sentiments are true </edit>
