Welcome to WebmasterWorld. [webmasterworld.com]
Here [webmasterworld.com] is some very good reading about Google.
Google like short pages and dont give the NOFRAMES tag as much weight as visible content.
You should normally have your changes reflected in Google within two updates from when you make the change. Brett's Google Update History [webmasterworld.com] should give you an idea of the timeframe.
Changes sometimes appear much sooner due to the Google Everflux [webmasterworld.com], but the listings may revert back to the last full update (this used to happen much more than now).
To learn about optimising for Google, I recommend the Google Knowledge Base [webmasterworld.com] and the Successful Site in 12 Months with Google Alone [webmasterworld.com] thread.
I'm going to make a macro to add this comment to a thread with one key ;)
I think this fresh crawl is a nice thing.
We dont need to wait 1month before we see the result of an change. :)
Google rocks!
I wonder how far we are from Google's director of technology, Craig Silverstein, future plans: :)

260 years from now, The Star Trek search engine has the search problem solved. It understands verbal queries, and it can cut through the imprecision of human communication to understand the correct context of those queries. It searches a humongous, all-but-infinite database of information, instantly. And for results, it replies in a pleasant, human-sounding voice, with a blend of various kinds of useful information (not an ordered list of Web pages, needless to say).
