Hi,
Let's say one has a site in the index, and you know 100% that it is indexed under certain phrase, by searching for the keywork and your url. How would I find out what rank the site is listed as without hitting next a couple hundred times?

There's lots of apps out there that will supposedly do this automatically...however the consensus seems to be that using these may get you penalized. One way I do it is set your preferences to show 50 or 100 results from a search. This makes it a _little_ easier.

There is a search string parameter and "hot key" for finding sites buried in search results, I however don't remember what it is.

If another member doesn't come along and post it,you may want to sticky mail a moderator to change the thread title to:

Hot Key for Site Find in Google Results.

Oh and welcome wreck3d to WebmasterWorld.

<added> I do believe it can be used to find sites down to a depth of 1000. </added>

Set your defaults to display 100 results at a time. If you ain't in the first 100 results on a specific search, odds of anyone finding your site with it are so near zero they can be ignored.

The only thing that comes to mind with "hotkey" is Ctrl-F (or your browser's equivalent) to bring up the find in page dialog.

This is useful for searching on those 100-resultset pages, but brings up another thought...

If a domain has multiple pages that show for a particular query, and they are in the same subset you're currently looking at, they are sometimes grouped together. This will distort the count, I think...
