The real problem is that they have 9,000 new links to add to Yahoo links. 657,000 + 9,000= 666,000 ....
After the "go to hell" problem they don't want a diabolic number related to Yahoo.

I did well in the last update, so personally I can imagine worse things than this update being delayed. Like finding my site dropped from the index again. :( Or ending up buried way down in the SERPs for important keywords. However, as you can see this delay in the Google update is having a deleterious effect on the mental health of some posters here. So they would appreciate it if you put a wiggle in it. ;) Or at least give a hint when the update will be. Definitely this update is late. It is already the 30th of the month, and there has only been one update later than this according to the chart on this site. Obviously something is up at Google to explain this.

Perhaps webmaster world could take advantage of our addiction. Charge us a monthly fee to have our ips blocked during the period that starts 1 standard dev from the mean of the update starting time to after the griping ends. My wife would easily fork up $20/month.
