I just ran a check with the sim_spider.cgi provided at searchengineworld, on my site. It seems that for almost every link at my site it looks like this: [xxxxxx...] where at other site it looks like: [xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.com...]

Do I have a major problem here in regard of Google? I am using Dreamweaver to make my sites, may the way Dreamweaver is dealing with the links (../xxxxxx/xxxxxx.html) conflict with the searchengines? Or does Google recognize [xxxxxx...] as [xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.com...]

I beleive Dreamwaever uses relative ../ URL's as default: I have always been a beleiver in absolute URL's [www....] SE spiders seem to swallow them better.

Google will actually treat [domain.com...] and [domain.com...] as seperate sites unless there is a redirect setup, which is what I tend to do.

Hi Conor.
Is there an automatic way in Dreamweaver to convert all the relative links/URLS to absolute links/URLS?
