Good question!
I don't think so... Does 'Daylight Saving' affect natural courses in women? Doubt if Ms. Googlebot cares about the 'Daylight Saving', considering she lives in California.. ;)

I mean: If Google guys must turn back their servers' clock this morning in California... isn't worth waiting for the Dance after 3:00 AM?

The update will happen. How come no one is sitting around waiting for the AV update? ;)

AV? There used to be a search engine called something like 'Asta la Vista, I think. Is that it? :-)

I was impressed with my PC clock, at 2am it set itself back to 1am... then an hour later it reached 2am and went back to 1am again. Useless darn thing.

Unix systems run on UTC, not local time. The display code is what changes it to local time. Each user on the system is even able to set their own time zone.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure the update process starts quite a while before we start seeing the dance.
