Simple question...how do you tell if Google is crawling your site? Most of our sites are hosted by a major hosting company and we use LiveStats. Can I even tell or do I have to host my own site.
Keep in mind, I'm the marketing/sales/copywriting part of the team, but my tech guy is out for the next 10 days.
Is it possible for a non techie to determine this?

I'm not sure how to get into the raw log files of Livestats, but if you can view your raw log files do a search for googlebot. You will then be able to see which spider is coming through and what page it is crawling.
