Domain / Subdomain pages indexed twice?

What happens in this case? What about Exclusion? PR?

I have an indexed site within Google that has a PR of 6 and various outbound and inbound links with good rankings.

The problem is that is a subdomain and now I bought a new TLD for it but it's still the same site.

So what am I supposed to do now? What happends if Googlebot "finds" that TLD and indexes all that pages that have already been indexed with the subdomain? Won't I get kicked or something? I don't want to have them both, just the new TLD with all its links and get rid of the old stuff. any ideas?

If they both get indexed, you will most likely find that Google will simple display the version with the highest PageRank.

However, Google has had moments in the past where they decided to be overly agressive with duplicate content filtering, so if you want to be ultra safe, you will need to set up a 301 redirect on the subdomain so Google will understand that you know longer want the subdomain address crawled.

It will probably take a few update cycles, but they will eventually get it right.
