I was playing with google labs for a few months, but only recently I realised one of my own obscure page is in the glossary!

It was something I did and forgot about (it's half finished but you bet I will change it), but apparantly it's in the beta version!

It's very strange but I guess my page name - glossary.html and a certain dictionary like format, caused google to flag it as a glossary. The use of <dl> <dt> and <dd> tags also helps I bet..

Any idea when if ever it's coming online? It's very cool to have your site turn up as an authorthity on the definition of words..(obscure terms they may be..)

I took a closer look at my glossary, only a few could be considered "technical terms" , some however are "definitions"/descriptions of popular software.. I'm a information site so it doesnt matter, but I can imagine the professional guys can do a lot of harm with this :)

Imagine

<Competitor product> - Piece of junk!

Still if anyone was stupid enough to use the glossary to search for products rather than technical terms.....

Also No worse then normal spamming I guess...

They found it and put it in without your knowledge? Nice that it was recognized, sounds like the page title didn't hurt any at all, or using the right tags, either.
