If Google finds a very large number of results it will display only the most relevant ones (I guess the limit is 1,000). Is there a way I can get the complete list of results? Thanks, Andrea

Not that I'm aware of. Even the Google API has a thousand-result limit.

I asked this a while ago and someone gave me the response that having more than 1000 results would create too much load on google's servers..
Kind of s shame that, 1000 results isn't all that much, especially if they claim to have found something like 12 million for the query in question!

Well, I don't *usually* go beyond 1,000 results, but ... :)
FAST/alltheweb.com sets the limit at 4,000, I found out by now.
But thanks, also to RBuzz - I wasn't even aware of the APIs feature.

Yes max. 1000 results is lame.

I think the 1000 limit, is to prevent people from stealing their database.
It is common practice, and I limit it to 200, on my sites.
If you havent narrowed it down in 1000 results, maybe you should refine your search.
