Hi,

I'd like to know how Google works in this context (what page indexes?, what does Google understand?...):

My URL is www.mykeyword.com. In this URL it's included in the font code "meta http-equiv="refresh" content="1; url=http://62.22.83.133/20011101/principal.asp". Consequently, when you put in the Navigator "www.mykeyword.com", navigator redirections this URL to [62.22.83.133...] Does somebody know how Google index this type of URLs?

I've been reading old posting about this but none of them are exactly this case. I hope somebody can help me,

Thank you,

jdMorgan

blue_sky,

Welcome to WebmasterWorld!

Google does not like meta refreshes, and I would strongly advise you not to use one. If you must redirect your visitors, use a server redirect instead.

Furthermore, redirecting or linking to an IP address is not a good idea, because IP addresses can change for many reasons, requiring you to make many changes to the links on your site. If you have a domain name, use it!
