Also, its SERP position is not very high (yet), ie lower ranking + more clicks = higher PR.
If that is the case, it pays to have a very catchy title to attract more click throughs -- success breeds success!
Any comments?
Clicks have nothing to do with PageRank.
More likely the differences of your internal PageRank is due to the internal link hierarchy and strucutre of your site.
A pages that has inbound links to it has natural PageRank and adjacent pages receive a transfer of PageRank with a dilution factor.
If many pages have inbound links then your have multiple PageRank transfer points that pass this PageRank around.
Thansk for your comments, but the structure for this particular page is no different from other pages under that category. The other similar pages have a lower PR and interestingly do not get clicked as much.
I read somewhere in this forum that Google may include click throughs in their algo, so just curious.
If the page in question is adjacent to two (or more) pages that have incoming links, this page may record a higher PageRank simply because PageRank is being transferred internally from different directions in your link structure.
I have a mainpage that has lots of links and a third level (directory) page that has the as many or more.
The page in the middle has none but scores as much PageRank as the other two simply because of internal transfer
Lots of inbound links >> MainPage PR7 >> middle page PR7 (which would normally be PR5 or PR6) << Third level PR7 << Lots of inbound links
