Do Dynamic referal pages have any worth

If the PR is 0, is there a benefit?

I am interested in becomming a supporter of this one site. When you go to the site by typing the address in the browser, you see a FLASH of a PR with a rank of 6 or 7. Then the address changes to a dynamic address with a?SID=99999 at the end, and then the PR disappears.

If you search through this site looking in the categories for merchants, every merchant page is dynamic, and there is no PR from it.

I believe that if I were to link to that site, that might help boost my listing by linking to a 'highly relative' site (if it counts that flash of PR). However I'm not sure if I would gain anything by being placed on the merchant page if there is no PR coming from that page. Does this make sense?

If the page shows no PR on the loaded page I doubt it has any. With many dynamic pages, google will act as if it is not in the database. This is not true, but you will see PR in the toolbar on the page. Are you sure the page doesn't redirect for that quick flash of pr?
