Do internal links from pages that have no external links diminish the value of other internal links? For example would a standard html link(s) to a larger image reduce the pr sent back to the home page by a keyword rich link back to the homepage or other content rich pages?

Yes, I think I understand that part. We have a wedding photogallery with about 70 thumbnails all linking to their larger counterpart. Will this reduce significantly the value transferred back to the wedding packages page from the photogallery page. Should I create js files to link to the larger files if I find the time for such trivial nonsense in between posts?

Good question, Powdork. Internal structuring and PR distribution are fascinating, and the same issue can arise with an ecomm site that has a page of widgets with a few products, with links leading to larger photos of widget-1, widget-2, etc.

Are the larger photos just .jpg's or are they on HTML pages? And if they're on HTML pages, do they link back to the thumbnail page and/or the main wedding packages and index pages?

Just make sure to link back to the packages page from the 70 thumbnail pages (a menu of some sort). That way, all the pr gets shared equally and you don't have to worry about anything.
