www-sj.google.com Is this the home of the permanent update? Any thoughts as to what this is in comparison to www3?

It is one of the Google's data centers, located at Sunnyvale (Ca). It is hosted by Global Crossing and is set up since the beginning of 2000. www2 or www3 are redirected to one of the datacenters according to your location or the load of the servers.
