Sometimes you can't see the trees for the forest.

A lot of people may know this, but sometimes the obvious never seems to hit us.

I finally noticed, that Google uses the Title Bar to form the highlighted text for your message (Dah !).

Guess what my title bar was 'The widget company'. Not to exciting yeh!. Well I changed it on Sept 24 to 'Gigantic savings on widgets at company name'., and Google picked it up that night. Talk about timing.

Anyway. My Google results doubled overnight.

So sometimes, its good to step back, so you can see the trees from the forest.

Good point, lgn. Impressions are no good without click throughs. Click throughs are no good without conversions. Usability is key, and that applies even to the listing in Google.
