I have GREAT content at my site and have used zero spam procedures. I have submitted to Google three and half weeks ago. But when I navigate my site the pagerankl button's color is grey, does it mean that I will not be indexed and banned. I suppose otherwise it would have been white, please advise the possibilities.

You might be lucky and make it into this update, 3 1/2 weeks ago you may just have missed it though. Dont worry waiting another month or about the Toolbar rank until you are indexed.

actually, I've come across the same problem. It appears the pagerank button is gray for any .tcl extension (and a couple of others) I use explicitly, as well as any page that takes an argument in the url.
The pagerank button will default to a value even for brand new pages on your site, as long as the urls aren't like the ones I've come across above.
