This is what i've noticed about the update of my sites:
I have a new site taken from google last july. It first appeared in www3 and then in www2, finally in www. The time it takes to gp from www3 to www1 was 1 day.
Then the site was on www with PR 1 and a few files but not the index. At the august update it jumped to PR3 with the index and a few files and third level domains more.
In September update google have taken some files more and have marked with the spidered date about 5 files. Those files have been visited for 2 days, the date at the right bottom of the result signed 18 sept and then 19 sept, and now they are off the db.
The cache copy of the pages that are now in the db are the old caches of july. This behaviouur influenced a lot my rankings and productivity.
So, I expect google update another time my site taking definitively all the files on in the next few days.
Do you agree? Have anyone else noticed the same behaviour? I wrote this trying to understand google dance behaviour.
Thanks all.
Nicco
